New Life University is the Christian education curriculum at New Life Ithaca Presbyterian Church.
We have short courses during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Anyone can follow the curriculum and receive a certificate. This is especially designed for students and others who will be in Ithaca on a temporary basis.

New Life University Certificate Program
New Life University is designed to give a comprehensive overview of the Christian faith. This curriculum will continue to grow over the years, but the idea is that if you take these basic classes, you will be well grounded in your knowledge and understanding of Christianity.
In order to receive a certificate, one must listen to all the following series:
THEO 100 – Intro to Theology
BIB 101 – The Story of the Bible
CH 201 – Ancient Church History
Attend the current New Life U class:
Spring 2026, THEO 300 – The Theology of John Calvin
And pick one of these sermon series:
The Sermon on the Mount
The Letters of John
If you meet these requirements, please let the pastor know and you will be awarded a certificate at the end of semester reception.
