Arthur “Art” Mosher and his wife, Ellen, moved to Trumansburg in December 2016 to serve as volunteers with New Life Presbyterian Church, after having served as volunteers in Leipzig (Germany) English Church (Anglican) for two years. He is Professor Emeritus of Linguistics and German and formerly taught at the University of Dayton and the University of South Carolina (Columbia). He has a PhD in Germanic Philology (University of Massachusetts-Amherst). He was first ordained as Ruling Elder in 1989 at First Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Columbia, South Carolina. He served several terms as Ruling Elder at South Dayton Presbyterian Church in Centerville, Ohio. Since August 2017, he has been a member of the Session at New Life Presbyterian Church. He and Ellen have three married children and four grandchildren.
