One of the main objections to God is the existence of evil. But what if God were solving the problem of evil in a way that didn’t violate human dignity? Jesus’ baptism gives some clues.

1. God created the world good, giving us free wills.
2. The source of moral and natural evils is the sin of mankind.
3. God did not restrain natural or moral evils in the antedeluvian world.
4. God does restrain natural and moral evil in the postdeluvian world.
5. Jesus is the answer to the problem of evil.
